Mantra Health announces partnership with Single Stop, the leading technology platform dedicated to connecting individuals and families with eligible public benefits. Together, these organizations will equip students with the tools and resources they need to truly thrive in their academic and personal lives.

NEW YORK, March 13, 2025 – Mantra Health, a premier digital mental health provider for higher education, is excited to announce a new partnership with Single Stop, the leading technology platform dedicated to connecting individuals and families with eligible public benefits. Together, these organizations will equip students with the tools and resources they need to truly thrive in their academic and personal lives.

Recent studies reveal that seven in ten college students have experienced concerns over financial stress, and a significant number continue to face basic needs insecurity. Research shows that up to 40% of students are food insecure, and 48% experience housing insecurity. These socioeconomic factors can negatively impact GPA, mental health, and increase the risk of dropout.

“This partnership with Single Stop is a game-changer for students who face not just mental health challenges, but the overwhelming burden of unmet basic needs. By combining mental health support with essential resources, we’re giving students a comprehensive safety net and equipping them with the tools they need to reach their full potential,” said Ed Gaussen, President and Co-founder of Mantra Health.

Through this collaboration, students will have access to a range of services provided by Single Stop, including:

  • Federal and State Benefit Screener: Helps students access vital public benefits, such as food assistance (SNAP), healthcare, housing support, and more.

  • Community Resources: Connects students with verified local resources for health, housing, food, and well-being, offering interactive support to ensure they reach the right contacts.

  • Case Management: Tracks students’ utilization of services, ensuring that students receive the care they need, and on-campus providers can monitor successful referrals.

  • Real-Time Reporting: Provides institutions with data to track trends and assess the impact of services both qualitatively and quantitatively.

By integrating their comprehensive service offerings, Mantra Health and Single Stop are making it easier for higher education institutions to provide students with the wraparound support they need. This partnership addresses both immediate and long-term needs, helping students overcome critical barriers, stay on track for graduation, experience a more rewarding college journey, and build a strong foundation for lifelong success.

“At Single Stop, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to thrive both in and out of the classroom. Our partnership with Mantra Health is an exciting step forward in providing holistic support that addresses both basic needs and mental health challenges—ensuring students have the resources, care, and confidence they need to focus on their education, build brighter futures, and achieve their full potential,” said Steven Williams, CEO of Single Stop.
