Updated: Nov 21, 2024

eCoast, an outsourced sales and channel-marketing agency focused on high-tech clients, will transform the online marketing of two resellers into business-building power tools with its Social Media Extreme Makeover Contest.

VARs, whether new to social media or experienced pros in need of a tune-up, can enter the contest for a chance to win one of two makeover packages beginning March 27th by visiting the Social Media Extreme Makeover page on the eCoast website. Entry includes providing a brief statement from VARs explaining how they could benefit from a Social Media Extreme Makeover.

eCoast will select one winner each for the Grand Prize and First Prize makeover packages. The winner of the Grand Prize package, valued at $5,000, will receive a makeover from the eCoast social media pros that includes:

  1. Development or enhancement of your company blog

  2. Three written articles to get you started

  3. Customized company profile pages for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

  4. Tips on using the right management tools to promote your social media accounts

  5. Best practice guidance for better blogging and social media

The First Prize package, valued at $3,000, includes the optimized profiles, best practices guidance for social media and tips for using the right management tools for your social media accounts.

“Social media is a low-cost opportunity for many of these businesses to position themselves as thought leaders in the industry,” Will Gibney, vice president of sales and marketing for eCoast, said. “These are great tools for small and medium businesses to extend their reach in the marketplace.”

Social media has become a great leveler when it comes to extending a company’s brand awareness, allowing even the smallest company to successfully compete in the marketplace. It can also enhance prospect engagement and intelligence gathering. eCoast’s social media experts want to help resellers put the right tools and procedures in place to succeed.

eCoast recognizes the needs of its clients who, like many businesses, have a desire to participate in social media yet are challenged by limited resources. eCoast created the Social Media Extreme Makeover contest to bring awareness to one of eCoast’s fastest growing services, social media consulting and on-boarding. eCoast would rather give back to its clients than spend dollars on traditional advertising. By helping VARs with their social media needs, our clients are helping eCoast showcase its capabilities in the channel community!
