In an exciting new collaboration, Brains & Motion Education (BAM!) and Pretzel Kids® announce their partnership to offer enrichment classes integrating social emotional learning (SEL), fitness, yoga and mindfulness.

Pretzel Kids classes will be rolled out during the school year 2024/2025 to children in grades K-8 in after-school programs across the U.S. Some key initial markets include the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, and Chicago.

Pretzel Kids classes blend yoga, mindfulness, fitness and fun. The curriculum gives children a unique opportunity to learn invaluable self-regulation techniques to effectively manage big emotions while getting fit in a non-competitive and FUN way!

Based in Boston, Pretzel Kids has offered its proprietary yoga and mindfulness classes to children and teens for 17 years. Its curriculum is widely used for SEL and yoga classes in after-school programs throughout the Northeast and other areas of the U.S.

Brains & Motion Education, known for its mission to prepare the next generation for the future through year-round enrichment, will integrate the Pretzel Kids curriculum into its after-school enrichment offerings so that schools now have the opportunity to offer these unique yoga and mindfulness classes to students in grades K-8.

“We are committed to bringing the joy of yoga and fitness to as many children as possible. We also understand and value the importance of mindfulness, particularly in today’s stressful world. With our partnership with BAM!, we can now expand our reach and bring the invaluable Pretzel Kids curriculum to students across the country,” said Pretzel Kids Founder and CEO, Robyn Parets.

Lori Todd, BAM! VP of Sales, is equally excited about this new partnership. “Our goal has always been to deliver diverse, engaging, and educational programs that cater to children’s varied interests and learning paces. Partnering with Pretzel Kids allows us to introduce a fresh and invaluable approach to fitness into the daily lives of our students in a way that builds their well-being and mindfulness,” said Todd.

The partnership between Brains & Motion Education and Pretzel Kids signifies an unparalleled commitment to instilling a love of fitness, creative movement and mindfulness among children of all ages. The classes will be taught by professionally-trained Pretzel Kids yoga instructors, ensuring that children learn yoga and mindfulness skills to last a lifetime.
