Kristy Cunningham is the former Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Strategic Growth at Bright Horizons, a global education and care company offering high-quality early childhood education through workforce education solutions to over 1200 companies. She was responsible for accelerating growth across all lines of business and creating a compelling customer experience for clients, parents, and adult learners.
Prior to joining Bright Horizons, Kristy drove customer-led transformations as the SVP of Strategy and Insights for McDonald’s U.S. and the Chief Marketing Officer of Hess Retail. In addition to her decade of c-suite experience, Kristy brings more than 13 years of consulting experience as a Partner at Bain & Company in the Retail and Consumer Practice where she advised some of the world’s leading companies on a wide range of enterprise growth opportunities. Kristy began her career as a consultant at Price Waterhouse/PWC.
Kristy is passionate about equity in education, the advancement of women, and child development. She is a national board member of Citizen Schools, a non-profit bringing hands-on learning and career mentors to public middle schools, and a member of Chief, the leading network of executive women. Kristy earned a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
